The Ruden Family

I have to give this family props. It was absolutely FREEZING when I took their pictures. I will be editing pink noses and red cheeks forever. I am truly amazed that they lasted as long as they did. Not only lasted, but they were funny and nice to be around too. Luckily, we got some good pictures which makes everything okay. This is a great family. I have taken their pictures for a couple of years now. I hope this becomes tradition. Maybe September of next year!

Quincey and Vivi

More of these cute girls to come!(I am swamped and loving it).

Such a cute little guy!

Look at this cute little guy! Janna and Tom (who for some reason, I kept calling him "John") are such a cute couple. A week ago today Janna had this 8 lb baby. I loved taking his picture today. He is so cute and has such a sweet disposition.

Ready for Pick Up!

Admittedly, this has been a week of craziness. The hours are winding down and everyone wants to get their pictures for Christmas Cards and family gifts. This makes me smile because I am busy busy busy trying to keep all clients happy with thoughts of returning again next year! To anyone waiting, I am on it. I promise. I am still completing all orders in 14 days.

This cute family makes me smile every time I walk in their house. They are kind and happy and amazing parents. When I was at their home the other day, Heather was explaining to the girls what we were going to do for pictures, Those cute babies just laid still and listened!

This wraps up our "newborn'' photo session. The disk is ready for pick up! I hope you love them as much as I have enjoyed getting to know your sweet family!

Can I call dib's on 3,6, 9 and12 months? I will give you a great discount!!! :0)

Many of you know I have been searching for an old fashioned buggy. I had almost given up hope when.......

I finally found one at my favorite place, The Star Mill in American Fork. If you haven't been there, you should definitely check it out! They have the best "finds!" The owners are great too!

The beautiful "White" family

Ammmmaaaazzzziiinnnggg family!!! This was one of the first families to book a sitting when I started my business. Mom, wanted pictures taken as soon as their oldest son returned from his mission. I only can hope that I am as excited as Sherilee when Jaxson returns from his mission. You could feel her excitement as she counted down the days. I was lucky enough to witness this sweet expression of love as we talked about dates and times for picture taking. Sherilee is one proud mom and rightfully so! It was my honor to take their family pictures!

The Thomas Family

I am so far behind! Here is a preview of the Thomas family. Stafford, the older son, is a "regular" at my home. I love having Stafford around so it was no surprise that I loved hanging out with his family! They are all so fun! I loved taking pictures of them!

And this is why I treasure Elayne....

Sunday turned out to be a roller coaster of emotions. But, I survived. Monday afternoon I realized I was losing something I loved. Fear is the only word I can use to describe what was going through my head. I ran to the store for something and when I pulled into my driveway, this Iris was blooming in my front yard.

Let me tell you something about this iris. It began as a bulb that my grandma, Elayne, dug out of her garden. She had the most beautiful garden! Whenever we would go visit her, grandma would send us home with plants to put in our garden. I have always been so proud. I point out "grandma's plants" to anyone and everyone who will listen. I treasure them.

I live in Utah. No Iris should be blooming right now.

When I pulled in and saw that lone iris in my yard, I smiled. You see, my grandma was always there for me when I was young.  And that is why I "treasure Elayne!" She still seems to always be there for me!

I know  this post is more of a personal nature. However, it seemed only fitting to post it on my "TreasureLayne" page!

This was my first set of twins! I am honored that they allowed me to take these pictures. I hope they love them. I also owe many thanks to their family and friends who helped me pull of this photo shoot. I could never have done it by myself. Thank you all so much.

Isabella and Sophia have got to be two of the luckiest babies alive. Jeff and Heather are an amazing couple that will be amazing parents!

My good friend, Rory

Rory HATES having his picture taken. At the insistence of his mom, he let me take a few photos. I tried to make it as painless as possible. He gave me ONE hour and I took TWO, I forgot to tell him we were going to Salt Lake, and I kept saying, "Let's just see what's down here." We both survived, so that must be a good sign!

Thanks Rory!
